Freshman Career Fair
The Freshman Class participates in an annual Career Fair with over thirty professionals
from the community visiting CBA. Each May, the freshman class is excused from
classes during the morning to visit with and interview professionals from all
walks of life. Students interact with the professionals through informal interview
sessions and open discussion sessions.
All of the fresmen have the opportunity to listen to various careers.

One of the careers discussed is Forensics
Senior High Peer Tutoring
Peer tutoring is offered during the student's study hall period to students who
need extra review or additional instruction in any of their academic classes.
Tutors are chosen and trained by the school counselors. Students may self refer,
or may be referred by teachers or parents to the program.
College Applications
All students will complete their college applications on-line using Naviance and the Common Application. Counselors conduct workshops for the students to assist them in the college search and application process throughout high school.
CBA encourages the use of the Common Application Online to simplify the application process. Currently over 240 colleges and universities utilize this process.
The students will
be using the Common Application and Naviance for career and college planning.
