CBA is an equal educational opportunity institution which does not discriminate
on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin or religion in the administration
of its educational policies, recruitment and admissions, available scholarships
or grants, or in interscholastic or other school sponsored programs.
The Christian Brothers
A Christian Brother is a member of a worldwide religious order that has committed
to follow Jesus Christ in the way of the Brother's founder, Saint John Baptist
de La Salle. A Brother commits himself to this endeavor by the vows of poverty,
celibacy and obedience. Unlike priests, brothers do not celebrate masses, hear
confessions or perform other sacraments. Brothers live in community and they can
work in nearly any job: cook, lawyer, technician, nurse, parish minister. The
Christian Brothers at CBA have chosen to live their lives as teachers in the hopes
of bringing young people closer to Jesus Christ through education.
Board of Trustees
The CBA Board of Trustees sets policy, establishes budgets, solicits funds,
and generally oversees the long-term development of the school. Members are elected
on a rotating basis from the school community.

Code of Conduct For Students
CBA strives to create an environment that is safe, orderly, harmonious and
conducive to learning. All of us are stewards of the friendly, yet disciplined
atmosphere of CBA. The rules established to protect the academic and philosophical
mission of CBA must be obeyed and supported. The goal of the Academy is to develop
in students respect for themselves and others and to provide an environment which
fosters the acceptance of personal responsibility and independence.
Dress Code
CBA views a dress code as part of the disciplinary training necessary to teach
students decorum and propriety. A personal sense of pride and self worth are at
the heart of CBA's philosophy. CBA's dress code is in effect from the time the
student enters the building until the end of the academic day. Students are expected
at all times to present a neat and clean appearance while attending classes at
CBA. A complete description of the dress code can be found in the Parent &
Student Handbook.
