The Parents' Club meets monthly to plan activities for parents, students, faculty, and staff at Christian Brothers Academy. All parents are encouraged to attend and take an active role in their student’s education. Dues ($15) are collected at the beginning of each year and are used to defray the costs of events which the club hosts. Events that are conducted by the Parents' Club include.
This committee hosts a reception following the 8th grade graduation mass in the school gymnasium.
This committee hosts a reception for the newly accepted students and their families.
This committee provides light refreshments during the Art Show which features the work of our students.
This committee hosts a reception for graduate families following the mass held the night before graduation.
This committee provides refreshments during the evening parents follow a mini version of their child’s academic schedule.
This committee provides light refreshments during ther career fair for 9th graders. The committee works with the guidance office on this event.
This committee collects the family information from the main office at school and compiles it into a directory book that is distributed to each CBA family. The work includes interaction with the printer and the school’s main office.
This committee plans the breakfast following a special Mass focused on fathers and daughters.The committee arranges for breakfast, takes reservations, sells tickets, decorates and coordinates with Campus Ministry about the mass and speaker.
This committee hosts a reception for the parents of seniors following an information session.
This committee hosts a reception for the parents of high school students following an information session.
This committee promotes, orders, and distributes holiday wreaths in the month of November.
This committee hosts the reception for students and their families following the presentation of academic awards. It is held at Temple Adath.
This committee organizes and stocks the Parents’ Club closet with paper goods and other supplies.
This committee hosts a reception for the parents of incoming 7th graders following an information session for the new class.
This committee hosts a reception for the parents of junior high students following an information session.
This committee hosts a reception for junior high parents before the start of Back to School Night as a way to meet other CBA families.
At the beginning of the year, the membership committee compiles member parents’ names and gives the dues to the Treasurer.

Mothers' Cupboard is located in the CBA Cafeteria. It sells milk, ice cream, candy, school supplies and logo items.We are always looking for volunteers to work throughout the year. You can volunteer once a week, once a month, or once a year. It is a great way to meet other parents and students. Mothers' Cupboard is open M-F 11:00-1:30 and selected days 2:35 – 3:15pm.
Prospective new students and their parents view classrooms and meet teachers. Parents Club hosts reception during and following tours. This event is chaired by the Parent Club Vice President.
This committee of junior class parents coordinates a junior class party following the Junior Prom. The committee arranges the location, food, entertainment, prizes and supervision of the party.
This committee of senior class parents coordinates a senior class party following the Senior Ball. The committee arranges the location, food, entertainment, prizes and supervision of the party.
This committee hosts a reception for parents of current parochial school students who attend a CBA information session.
This committee of junior class parents coordinates a breakfast for the senior class students and their parents. The event is held in the school cafeteria.
This committee of senior and junior class parents coordinates a fashion show that features the members of the senior class. Most class members model and some choose to work behind the scenes. This committee needs a lot of parent volunteers to be successful. The committee works on everything from the location, food, and vendors to clothes, music and choreography.
The committee coordinates masses during the week before school and prayers for special requests.
This committee arranges for special treats for the teachers once a month as well as a final luncheon at the end of the school year.
