March Marks National Middle School Month at CBA |

Seventh and eighth graders at Christian Brothers Academy have a host of fun- filled and educational activities planned for March in celebration of National Middle School Month. The following activities will take place at the school:
Monday, March 1, through Friday, March 5: Each homeroom will decorate a section of the first floor hallway with a design that incorporates each junior high student during the Homeroom Hallway Decorating Contest.
Wednesday, March 10: Eighth graders will host a “Reverse” Career Fair, where each will select and research one profession and present in character at the event. Parents are invited to attend.
Friday, March 12: Middle School Fun Night will feature three-on-three basketball, ping-pong, inflatable obstacle course, dancing and snacks.
Monday, March 15 through Thursday, March 18: The students will celebrate Middle School Spirit Week with a variety of fun clothing options:

Spring Fever (wear bright colors, floral shirts, capris, etc.) |

“Go Green” on St. Patrick’s Day (wear green) |

Dress Up (wear dress up clothes in preparation for Honors Night) |
Wednesday, March 24: Students will be encouraged to “mix-it-up” by sitting with a variety of classmates at lunch. CBA peer ministers will facilitate conversation and activities.
Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26: Seventh graders will participate in the “Expressions from the Middle” showcase by creating an original piece of artwork, writing a poem a song, or completing a project reflecting on their middle school experience.
