8th grade music

The 8th Grade Music course is a required course for all 8th graders and fulfills the NYS requirement for Jr. High School music. (1/2 credit-meets every day for one semester)

 

 

Course Description:

 

This course deals with a variety of topics related to the world of music. Emphasis is placed on organizational and listening skills, as well as “hands-on” experience with classroom instruments. The science of sound and the impact of electronics in the world of music will also be covered in this course.
