Since 1991, one of the sure signs of fall has been Christian Brothers Academy’s Annual Classic Corvette Raffle. Two-thousand-and-nine is no different! This year’s model – a beautifully restored 1966 Rally Red with white convertible top – is sure to attract lots of interest. Five dollars still buys a single ticket, or $20 buys a book of five tickets.

The car boasts a 350 horsepower engine, four speed manual transmission, AM/FM radio, side mount exhaust, knock off wheels, and is valued at over $50,000. It will be on display, with tickets for sale, at the New York State Fair until September 7, and later at Carousel Center, in front of JCPenney’s, from October 10, 2009, through January 16, 2010.

Tickets can also be purchased at the online at www.cbasyracuse.org. All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the school, helping to pay for teacher’s salaries, financial assistance, and technology.
