Day “C”
All Students
- To all cast members of the “White Christmas” there will be a general meeting TODAY at 2:45 in the LGI. Rehearsal schedule and other important information make attendance essential.
- TED @ CBA is back! “Getting Back Up” is the topic for this talk to be given TODAY at 5:30 p.m. in the LGI. Speakers will be: CBA: Senior Liz Adams, Junior High Science Teacher Mr. Ribaudo, and CBA Graduate Pat Wiese. All are welcome! “Never let a stumble in the road be the end of the journey.”
- There will a rehearsal of the Select Chorus TODAY at 7:30 a.m. in the Chorus Room.
- There will be a short music rehearsal this TODAY at 3:00 p.m. in the LGI for White Christmas cast members who are not principals.
- Please support the Senior Class. They will be holding a bake sale and basket raffle Monday, February 8th during all three lunch periods. All baked goods will be a $1.00.
Junior High
- Mark your calendars for Friday, February 5th from 7-9 for our CBA’s Got Talent Show. Come support your classmates as they share their talents. The cost is $5 at the door.
- Attention Junior High Lasallian! Our next gathering will be next Monday, February 8th at 2:45 in room 401. We are happy to welcome Mrs. Moore, who will be talking to us about the upcoming Season of Lent and the use of meditation in our Lenten practices. We will start with snacks and conversation between 2:45-2:55 and the welcome our guest speaker at 3:00pm. Hope you can join us!
Senior High
- MVP Group: There is a MVP meeting for all members at lunch TODAY. See Mrs. Finlay if you cannot attend.
- Seniors: CORE Federal Credit Union is offering a number of scholarships to students who are members. If you are a member, applications can be found in the Guidance Office.
- The Upper Room will be meeting tomorrow, February 4th in Room 210 from 2:40 to 3:30 and see Mr. Cusano if you cannot attend. If you cannot stay the whole time, please come right at 2:40 for a quick yearbook picture.
- Syracuse Right to Life Oratorical Contest is open to juniors and seniors and will be held Sunday, March 13th. Applications are due by March 6th. Speeches are to be 5-7 minutes in length. Contestants are to research, write, and present an original pro-life speech on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, or embryonic stem cell research. Campus Ministry has application information.
- There will be a Marketing and Communications Meeting at 7:45 TODAY in Room 402. Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend.
- There will be a Junior prom meeting TODAY at 2:40 in Room 405. Please be prompt.
- The Syracuse VA Medical Center Voluntary Service Office is announcing their 2016 Youth/Student Volunteer Program.
- The program offers students an opportunity to work with VA staff, volunteers and patients to obtain an understanding of working in the health field and medical center work environment. Students must be at least 14 years of age. Information can be found in the guidance office.
