8th Graders Present Reverse Career Fair
Christian Brothers Academy 8th graders put a new twist on exploring future professions, as they held a Reverse Career Fair on February 11, 2011. Based on results of a career interest profile, each student selected a profession of choice, did extensive research, and presented the career to groups of students, faculty and family members. Dressed in character, students described why they chose a specific career, what education was required, and gave complete job descriptions including a typical day timeline.
Students chose a variety of careers based on their talents and interests including: veterinarian, pharmacist, Broadway dancer and actress, medical scientist, accountant, park ranger, forensic scientist and PR manager.
