Christian Brothers Academy will induct six alumni, a current coach and two teams into the schools Lasallian Athletic Hall of Fame at a dinner and induction ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel. Established in 2000 and sponsored by CBAs Booster Club, the Hall of Fame honors those who have distinguished themselves not only in their interscholastic pursuits while at Christian Brothers Academy, but also their accomplishments in their chosen fields post-graduation.
The 2012 inductees are:
Lou Pascarella 48(football and baseball) returned as an assistant football coach for Walt Ludovico from 1950-1957.
Orrie Scarminach 67(football and track) played football collegiately at Boston College.
Tom Harris 72(football, wrestling and track) played football for Dick MacPherson at the University of Massachusetts.
Jason Meany 98(track) was a three-time state champion and All-ACC runner at Clemson University.
Trevor Scott White 99(football and track) was a state champion in track, who continued his football career at Boston College.
Courtney Palladino 01(basketball and lacrosse) scored 1,000 career points in basketball and was the first CBA girls lacrosse All-American. She played lacrosse for Syracuse University.
Joe Casamento(current football coach) led the 2004 team to the NYSPHSAA AA State Championship.
1952 CBA Football Team went undefeated and outscored opponents 263-6 en route to a 7-0 record.
1953 CBA Football Team went undefeated and outscored opponents 196-0 en route to a 6- 0 record.
