Brothers Pride On Display During Spirit Week
CBA students, faculty and staff displayed their school spirit during Homecoming Week (Sept. 24-29).
A different theme was highlighted each day. Monday was Maritime Monday, as students wore a sea related character or theme, including pirates, sailors, or fish. Many of them were dressed in Hawaiian shirts. Tuesday was Super Tuesday, and students came to school dressed as their favorite Super Hero. Western Wednesday was the theme for Wednesday, and Thursday was Jersey Thursday. The week culminated with purple and gold day on Friday.
All of the fall sports teams were introduced during a Pep Assembly Friday afternoon. Senior Sean Smith was crowned this year’s “Mr. CBA.”

Sean Smith was voted Mr. CBA.

The gym floor was covered with confetti following the Pep Assembly on Sept. 28.
CBA family, friends and alumni gathered for the Annual Alumni Association Homecoming Tailgate. Prior to the game, alumni gathered with the football team in front of the Grotto for prayer, followed by the senior high chorus singing the alma mater. “White Out” was the theme for the spirited student section, which cheered the Brothers football team to a 30-6 Homecoming victory against Henninger. Senior Tim Denham was named the Alumni Association’s Most Valuable Offensive Player, while sophomore Ashton Dean was named the Most Valuable Defensive Player.
