CBA Celebrates Spring with Two Nights of Music
The school year is starting to wrap up at CBA, but there is still one thing left to celebrate before finals and end of the year projects: music!
On May 2nd, CBA students came together to present the 2012 Spring Choral Concert. The program featured the Jr. High Chorus, Sr. High Chorus, Select Choir, and a special “combined choruses” finale under the director of Mr. Bob Caraher. Over 50 talented students participated in the concert that made for a memorable night.

On May 3rd, more than 100 musicians performed at the Instrumental Spring Concert at John Lynch Gymnasium. The Jr. High Band, Sr. High Band, and Jazz Ensemble (directed by Mr. Tim Davis) and the Strings Orchestra (directed by Mrs. Muriel Bodley) offered a wide variety of musical selections including “The Locomotive Chase,” “Jungle Dance,” and Tchaikovskys “1812 Overture” that featured cannons, flag waving, and fanfare.
Parents, students, faculty, and friends thoroughly enjoyed both concerts as evidenced by their enthusiastic applause and standing ovation.
