Eighteen students and three adults took “the plunge” and jumped into the icy waters of Oneida Lake on Saturday, raising close to $16,000 to help support Camp Sunshine.

The CBA Polar Brothers raised close to $12,000, while the Fearless Team, which was put together by sisters Marygrace Hanson ’13 and Monica Hanson ’14, raised more than $1500. While 21 took the plunge, 27 team members helped raise the money.

CBA families and friends made up the bulk of the contributors to the plunge.  The team totals will pay for four-five CNY families to attend Camp Sunshine next summer.

Each summer, more than 20 CBA students volunteer for a week at Camp Sunshine, a camp for children and their families who are battling cancer. For additional photos, visit our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/cbasyracuse/
