On August 10, 2010, Meghan Macri ’14 shared her struggles with Type I Diabetes and her hope for finding a cure at a kick-off luncheon for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes.

Meghan Macri ’14 and “Big Mike” Fiss from radio station SUNNY 102 participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes kick-off.

The luncheon was attended by company representatives and families planning to participate in the Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, September 25th at Long Branch Park in Liverpool, NY.Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults for a lifetime.
