CBA Hosts 28th Annual Lasallian Dinner & Auction
Approximately 400 family, friends and alumni attended the 28th Annual Lasallian Dinner and Auction on April 8.
“Around The World With CBA” was the theme of this year’s celebration which directly benefits students of the school by helping to offset tuition costs, and thus ensuring that CBA remains accessible to those who desire a high caliber, college preparatory, Catholic education in the Lasallian tradition.

President Brother Joseph Jozwiak FSC with co-chairs Steve and Lis Fournier.

Auction co-chairs John ’67 and Carol Marshall.
More than 250 silent auction and 20 live auction items were featured. Live auction items included: trips to France, Sedona, AZ and Cape Cod; a Florida Escape for February 2018, reserved front row graduation seats, SU football season tickets, four tickets to a Notre Dame football game, and an iPad Pro 9.7 and office chair. Also part of the live auction was “Raise Your Paddle.” During the year, teachers are asked to submit proposals for teaching aids or equipment that will directly benefit the students. This year’s “Raise Your Paddle” live-auction funds went toward the Online Learning Initiative, which enhances the school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) program.
CBA rising seniors will have an opportunity next year to experience one of sixteen new elective courses through an online format. These courses will include AP Computer Science, AP Art History, Intro to Neuroscience, AP Music Theory and many more unique areas of study. Each online course is scheduled into a normal student course schedule and taught remotely by a certified teacher in that content area. There will be software, licensing and additional computer hardware needed for this program. More than $27,000 was raised toward the Online Learning Initiative.
