CBA Hosts “Career Days”
Christian Brothers Academy hosted a series of “career days” for the ninth grade class that went from April 16th through April 27th and gave students an opportunity to listen to presentations made by alumni during their lunch period.
The entire freshman class was invited to attend all of the sessions. While they were required to attend one, many signed up for more. There were six sessions total, with alumni speakers including: Tom Dadey 87, a business owner, Dave Scrano 83, a software engineer, Mikell DiGiorgio 88, a vocal performer, Brad Pinsky 87, an attorney, and Dr. Demlein 72, a dentist.
On Wednesday, April 25th, Brad Pinsky 87 spoke with students about what it takes to have a successful career as an attorney. “Being an attorney makes you think critically,” said Pinsky. After explaining his career to students and answering a few questions, Pinsky had the ninth graders take on a fictional case and argue it from both sides.
