CBA Hosts First “Brother For A Day”
Approximately 40 accepted sixth grade students from public, private and Catholic elementary schools in Central New York participated in “Brother For A Day” on Tuesday.
“Brother For A Day” is a program created by the CBA Admissions Office to welcome students who have been accepted into the Class of 2020. The program gives admitted students a general introduction to the school and the chance to see the classrooms and facilities, as well as the opportunity to ask questions and interact with current middle school students, administrators and faculty. The accepted students shadow current 7th graders and learn all about their experiences at the school.
Principal Brother Joseph Jozwiak, FSC asked the group what their favorite part of the day was. Lunch, science class, art class, meeting the teachers, the friendliness of the current students and the state championships were some of the popular responses.
This is the first of five “Brother For A Day” that are scheduled. Other dates are: Feb. 26, March 4, March 6 and March 11.
