Congratulations to CBA students Katrina Drury ’15 and Josh Popp ’15, who succeeded in the first round of the Post-Standard/WCNY Spelling Bee, held on January 25, 2011, at Christian Brothers Academy. Drury and Popp were two of 150 students from Central New York who competed in the first round by taking a written examination. Only 27 competitors made it through the written examination to continue on to the oral spelling bee on Saturday, February 5, 2011, with the hope of competing in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in June.
