Christian Brothers Academy is pleased to announce that CJ Ponge ’12 earned his Eagle Scout rank at a ceremony on January 14, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville.

Prior to the ceremony, the entire troop celebrated mass together in honor of the support and guidance they had received from the Immaculate Conception Church for years.

For his final service project to earn his Eagle Scout, Ponge developed a plan to repair resident rooms in the Alverna Heights Retreat House in Fayetteville. After planning the project, CJ recruited several volunteers to help get the job done. Ponge and his fellow group members moved furniture, taped moldings, applied paint to the walls, and re-organized the room. The project took two days to complete.
