In August, CBA students Lauren DeLorenzo ’14 (of Fayetteville) and Meghan Macri ’14 (of Jamesville) attended the Medical Academy of Science and Health (MASH) Camp at Oneida Healthcare Center, sponsored by Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC) and Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

The camp offered students the opportunity to learn about various career opportunities in medicine. Students rotated between radiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and trauma, as well as had hands-on training in CPR techniques, blood pressure readings and pulmonary aspirations.
