Despite the rain and cold, eighth graders enjoyed a full day of fun and excitement at their picnic at Camp Brockway Lodge at Pratt’s Falls State Park on May 23.

The students dressed in their favorite CBA t-shirts, participated in various sports and games, hiked and held a rocket launch competition. They enjoyed music from DJ Wannajam Productions and feasted on hamburgers, hot dogs, salt potatoes, macaroni salad, fruit salad, brownies, cookies and assorted beverages provided by Limp Lizard.

Eighth grade teachers chaperoned the event, which is held annually for the class, usually the day after their Moving-Up Mass and Celebration.
