
Golden Day For Music Department

The string orchestra and jazz ensemble finished in first place and, the select chorus finished in second place, missing first place by two-tenths of a point at the Darien Lake Music Competition this past weekend.
All three ensembles received “Gold Honors with Distinction”, the best possible rating. CBA also won the Grand Championship trophy. This is for schools that enter at least three different ensembles. The school whose average is the highest of all their ensembles receives this award. In addition, the string orchestra received the highest score of their particular performance site.
