CBA recently welcomed Holocaust survivor and acclaimed author of “Four Perfect Pebbles,” Marion Blumenthal Lazan, who spoke to Jr. High students.
Blumenthal shared her unique and inspirational story with CBA 7th and 8th graders, who have been reading the book in English class. Students enjoyed her historical yet personal presentation, along with question and answer session, that allowed students to expand on what they have learned in class and experience a first hand account of one of historys most trying times. Students demonstrated such a strong connection to both her book and moving story that some even stuck around to give her a hug!
