Keough To Attend Young Lasallian Symposium In Rome, Italy
Faculty member Matt Keough has been selected as a delegate to the 3rd International Symposium of Young Lasallians, which will be held in Rome, Italy Feb. 9-15.
Keough was one of 10 Lasallian faculty members in the country who was selected to be a member of the Lasallian Region of North America’s (RELAN) delegation to the Symposium.
“I am honored to be able to attend this Symposium and to help the Brothers that are dedicated to the mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle,” Keough said.
The purpose of the symposium will be to identify and prioritize objectives and Lines of Action for the Young Lasallian Movement; and to link these objectives directly with the Institute’s Mission, and the lines of action and orientations of the broader Lasallian Educational Mission, as expressed by the 2nd International Mission Assembly, which was held in May 2013.
Keough has taught Math at CBA since 2004. He also coaches baseball and basketball. Keough is the Chairman of the Faculty and Staff Mission and Ministry team. The purpose of the Mission and Ministry team at CBA is to help foster and enhance the vision and mission of St. John Baptist de La Salle among all partners and stakeholders, and to take a proactive role in the continued process of Lasallian Christian Formation.
