National Honor Society members at Christian Brothers Academy are giving back this holiday season. Teaming up with Lookin Out, a peer-to-peer program designed to foster safety among teens, NHS collected canned food and other non-perishable items from students at the school. The items were collected in homerooms over the course of two weeks prior to Thanksgiving for donation towards St. Lucys Food Pantry.
The donations piled up, filling over 50 boxes that were used to replenish the shelves at St. Lucys Food Pantry located on Syracuses West Side. Members of the 174th Fighter Wing showed their support by picking up the food at the CBA campus, doing their part to serve the community.
