Fathers and grandfathers gathered at CBA to celebrate with their daughters in grades 7-12 the annual Father Daughter Communion Breakfast on Sunday, May 4 in the school’s John Lynch Gymnasium.
Over 200 attended the mass and breakfast. Father Joseph O’Connor, Director of Vocation Promotion at Syracuse Diocese was the celebrant.
Daughters and their dads participated in the mass as greeters, readers, vocalists, musicians and gift bearers. Principal Brother Joseph Jozwiak, FSC led those present in blessing each other from father to their daughter and vice versa, as the special bond between the two was recognized and celebrated.
Senior Alessandra Carno and her father, Robert were the guest speakers at the breakfast. They spoke about the importance of the father and daughter relationship and their special bond.
