Become a Member of the Parents’ Club and Volunteer Today!

We welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year and invite you to become an active member of the CBA Parents’ Club.

The Parents’ Club facilitates many activities and provides important services that support all CBA students and their families. Parents’ Club depends on volunteers, and we hope you will consider giving your time to help with one or several activities this year. There is something for everyone, from sending in a snack for our monthly Staff Appreciation Luncheons, to chairing an event.  The saying could not be truer, “Many hands make light work.”  Look at the Parents’ Club calendar of events and get involved!

To help fund the events that Parents’ Club sponsors, we ask for a $30 annual fee per family. You can find the Parents’ Club dues and volunteer form at this link: ANNUAL DUES  We rely on your dues to fund all the wonderful things Parents’ Club does for 100% of the CBA school community. We look forward to welcoming new friends and reconnecting with our old friends as we work together to grow our CBA community. The Parents’ Club will meet five times this year to discuss upcoming events and coordinate volunteers as we sponsor over 29 events in  the 2017-2018 school year:  Nov. 15 , Jan.17 , March 2 , and  May 16.

Mothers’ Cupboard

Mothers’ Cupboard is a snack bar located in the CBA Cafeteria. It is open M-F 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and after school 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. We offer students a wide variety of beverages, snacks, and school supplies. Mothers’ Cupboard operates entirely by parent volunteers. Students rely on Mothers’ Cupboard to round out their lunch and for a quick snack before their afternoon activities and during exams. It is a wonderful opportunity to say hello to students and their friends in a relaxed environment. Volunteers are welcome to sign up with a friend or on their own.

Due to the popularity of Mothers’ Cupboard, we take volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you have volunteered in the past, you must sign up again to be included in this year’s schedule.

Please log onto Volunteer Spot to sign up or contact Mary Catalano, 420-5085 (cell), mcatalan@twcny.rr.com for scheduling questions. For general questions regarding Mothers’ Cupboard, contact Karin Toole: 682-3767 (home) or 430-6341 (cell), ketoole@twcny.rr.com
