This week we will be starting a clothing drive for our twin school in Kenya and the drive will go until Spring break. We will be collecting any clothing with the name or logo of CBA. This can include sports clothing, homecoming shirts or any article of clothing with CBA on them. Each grade will have their own box outside of the main office where you can drop-off the Please contribute any CBA clothing that you no longer want. Thank you!!
Get your ticket for our Spring Musical, White Christmas. The performances are Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th at 7:00 PM at Nottingham High School. Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased from any cast member, the Main Office, Mr. Moretti or Ms. Feldmeth. Please come and support your fellow students.
Time to submit to the Underground! Short stories, poetry, photography, art, videos of spoken word poetry, original music files, and anything else creative are allowed submissions. Email them to kfletcher@cbasyr.org, rcollins@cbasyr.org, or tbenware@cbasyracuse.org with the subject line “Underground Submission.” If you would like to be a junior editor, email a piece of creative work to one of the above emails and inform us that you would like to be considered for the position (must be taking Creative Writing next year). Submissions due April 15th.
The cafeteria will close at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week due to 8th grade testing.
There will be a mandatory meeting TODAY for all individuals interested in participating on the varsity football team next fall. We will meet in the LGI at 2:45. Please be on time.
Junior High
8th graders… On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you should report to the Cafeteria for the NYS Math exam at the conclusion of homeroom. Cellphones must be left in your locker or backpack. Bring your backpacks with you to the cafeteria. You should leave them in the hall against the wall between the cafeteria and Mr. W’s office. Students who use the testing center should report to room 107. Remember to bring a non graphing calculator with you.
Senior High
Volunteer opportunity for seniors: ARISE at the Farm is having a spring camp during the week of our spring break, April 25-29, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Volunteer applications can be found on their website: ariseinc.org Contact person is Laura Little 687-6727.
Upper Room will be meeting this Friday, April 15th in Room 210 from 2:45 to 3:30 and if you cannot attend see Mr. Cusano.
Student Senate Elections: Student Senate elections for next year’s sophomore, junior and senior classes will be on Thursday, May 19th.
