The quest for a state title continues this weekend for both the girls swim team and the football team.

Swimmers will be competing at the NYSPHAA swimming and diving championships this Friday and Saturday at the Ithaca College Aquatics Pavilion. Seniors Summer Schmitt, Maggie Fletcher, Kathryn Coughlin and seventh grader Julia Torell will be competing in the 200 medley relay.  3 out of 4 members of the medley relay team (Fletcher, Coughlin and Schmitt) won the state championship in 2011. In addition, Schmitt, Coughlin, Torell and seventh grader Annie Fletcher will compete in the 200 free relay.

Individually, Schmitt will compete in the 100-meter backstroke and butterfly. Maggie Fletcher will compete in the 50-meter and 500-meter freestyle and Coughlin will compete in the 100-meter breaststroke.

The undefeated Brothers football team (11-0), ranked third in the state, will face defending state champion Orchard Park (10-1) of Section VI at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester. The Brothers are two wins away from their second state title (the first was earned in 2004.)
