Six Students Make US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Team
Six CBA student-athletes including George Dise '16, Brendan Keeney '16, Eva Gordon '14, Annie O'Brien '15, Malachi Emmanuel '17, and Zachary Zajdel '15 have been selected for the 2011-2012 US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.
Players are selected on the basis of open tryouts conducted by state association coaches who are recognized for their ability to identify and train players with superior skills. Players are evaluated on technique, tactics, fitness and athletic ability, and attitude.
The Olympic Development Program, formed in 1977 to identify a pool of players in each age group from which a national team will be selected for international competition, provides training to benefit and enhance the development of players at all levels. Congratulations and good luck to our students!
