
Sophomore Takes 2nd Place in ESF Bridge Building Contest

CBA student Mark Peryer 13 and his creation, “The Peryernator,” took 2nd place in the 22nd Annual Balsa Wood Bridge Competition, held April 8, 2011, at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. The competition challenged high school and middle school students from around Central New York to build a lightweight bridge that would withstand a significant amount of weight based on design structure.
Other CBA students who participated in the competition were: Mitch Bauer 12, Alessandra Carno 14, Thomas Culeton 16; Nick Fusillo 11, Nate Goebel 11, Ashok Kamani 11, Cirro Nicoletti-Watson 11, Jack OBrien 11, John Potega 11, and Brendan Smith 12.
