Senior Cole Speidel will compete in the state swimming meet at Webster-Schroeder High School this weekend.

Speidel, who has been on the CBA swim team since the seventh grade, will compete in the 200-yard freestyle

and the 100-yard butterfly. He holds the school record in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.58) and 100-yard butterfly (52.41).

Speidel will swim at the University of Penn next fall.
