
Student-Athletes Compete On State Level
Student-athletes competed in State Competition this past winter in wrestling, swimming, indoor track and girls ice hockey.
Senior Tyler Kellison advanced to the finals in the NYSPHSAA State Wrestling tournament. Kellison lost the championship match, by a close 5-4 decision. Kellison was named the Wrestler of the Year in the large school division for the second year in a row. This is the first time that any wrestler has won the award in consecutive years.

Senior Chris Bushnell finished second in the entire State in the 100-meter backstroke. He swam a personal best and improved on his school record in the event. He was awarded with the Sportsman Award at the meet.

Junior Olivia Morganti placed third in the 1500-meter race. She broke her own record and also improved on her own school record by three seconds. Morganti is ranked as one of the top 15 high school runners in the United States.

In addition, Sophia Burns, Evie Sheridan, and Kendell Giltz were members of the state runner-up Skaneateles girls ice hockey team.
