Students had an opportunity to learn more about organizations in the Syracuse area, as Peer Ministers hosted a Service Fair recently.

More than 20 local organizations were on hand to provide information and answer questions from students. It was a great opportunity for students in all grade levels to not only learn about the organizations, but to get some ideas for service for confirmation and the service hours that they are required to have for school.

Organizations at the Service Fair included: Camp Healing Hearts, Veterans Administration Hospital, Syracuse Parks & Recreation, Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, Francis House, YMCA, Ronald McDonald House, White Branch Library After School Program, Samaritan Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Upstate Hospital, ARISE, Helping Hounds, Food Bank, Camp Good Days, CNY SPCA, Challenger Baseball, MoveAlong Inc., Clear Path For Veterans and Northeast Community Center.
