Students Reenact Stations Of The Cross
Students had an opportunity to gain a better understanding and appreciation of what Jesus endured during his final days, as The Stations of the Cross were on display during Lent.
For fourteen mornings before homeroom, students reenacted the Stations of the Cross to fellow students in the main hallway of the school.
The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step devotion followed during Lent, which retrace the steps of Jesus on his way to the cross. These 14 stations focus on specific events of Christ’s last day, beginning with His condemnation.
“A Lasallian Way of the Cross” with a passage from St. John Baptist de La Salle for each station (provided by Br. Visitor Dennis Malloy) was also read.
