Evans Wins Shakespeare Competition

Junior Jacqui Evans won CBA’s Shakespeare Competition, sponsored by the English Speaking Union of the United States.

Evans performed a monologue as Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing.

Evans now advances to the Regional Competition, which will be held at Syracuse Stage in early March, where she will compete against other school winners from CNY. The winner will advance to the National Competition at Lincoln Center in New York City. In recent years, CBA has sent Olivia Moffa ’18 and Emilee Edick ‘ 21 to Nationals.

Juniors Janie Kang and Zoe Seppe finished in second and third place, respectively.
