College Advising & Counseling

College Advising

During the student’s junior year, counselors will conduct college planning information sessions for parents and students. Students will have individual meetings with their respective counselor to complete a full college search and plan their college visits.

Senior seminar classes provide students with information and individualized instruction for completing college applications online using the Common Application and Naviance.

Students are given information to assist them in the actual application process, mock interview sessions prior to on campus interviews, editing of college essays, and information for scholarship applications.

Counseling Services

Counseling services at all grade levels promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. As an essential part of the instructional program at Christian Brothers Academy, school counseling assists in helping to build a strong foundation for student learning and academic success, along with providing an environment where our students can thrive while acquiring strong leadership skills.
