Five individuals and two teams will be inducted into the CBA Lasallian Athletic Hall of Fame at a dinner and ceremony at the Marriott Hotel Syracuse on Saturday, Nov. 1.
This year’s inductees include:
Russ Cusano '64-Two time All City basketball selection. Led the 1963-64 Basketball team to the City League Championship and CBA's only All City Championship. Starred collegiately at Kings College.
Kelly Romano Aken '94-Three sport star (Soccer, Basketball and Softball) earned 12 varsity letters. Chosen as an All-Star in all three sports. Played collegiate softball at the University of Scranton.
Brian McNiff '02 -Lettered in soccer, cross country, indoor and outdoor track. won three state championships (one individual, two as part of a relay team.) Named CNY Outdoor Track Runner of the Year in 2002. Competed collegiately at Duke University.
Bruce Williams '05-Four-time football letterman. A key part of the 2004 state champion football team. Still holds four New York State receiving records. Played collegiate football at Syracuse University. Current offensive coordinator of the CBA football team that has won three state championships.
Summer Schmitt '13 -Six-time swimming letterman. Three time high school All American, led the 2011 state champion 200 medley relay team. Three time All CNY swimmer of the year. Competed collegiately at Harvard University.
