CBA Artist of the Month

_{As part of our most recent capital campaign, "Our Mission, Their Future," we centralized the location of our new Learning Commons and re-envisioned signage throughout the main quadrant of the school. Our goals were to highlight our Lasallian Mission, to recognize our historic tradition, and to feature the various gifts and talents of our students.}

_{One such digital display recognizes a "Student Artist of the Month" by presenting samples of the student's artwork. This display is prominently featured in our Learning Commons and viewed by nearly every student on several occasions each day.}

_{For the month of December, we are proud to showcase the artistic talents of Will Harrigan '23 as our "Artist of the Month." Will expands his talents and shares his artistic gifts through our AP Studio Art course. In addition to being a stellar artist, Will is a three sport athlete at CBA and has committed to play baseball at Columbia University next year.}

_{We are blessed with several extraordinary artists whom we have highlighted throughout the year. These young artists are guided and mentored by our outstanding visual arts instructors, Ms. Caryl McGinty and Mrs. Bobbi Petrocci. Earlier in the school year, we recognized the immensely talented Peyton Woodcock '25, Emily Jones '23, and Myli Petrocci '24 as the "CBA Artist of the Month." Peyton and Myli develop their creative gifts through our Studio Art Program. Emily explores her passion through AP 3D Art & Design. We are very proud that Emily has also been accepted at Columbia University for next fall.}

_{The recognition and promotion of the arts is one way that we live our Lasallian mission - recognizing the presence of God in the beauty of our students' compositions. Congratulations and thank you to each of these "Artists of the Month" and to all of our students who share their gift of the arts with our community!}
