Eighth graders Olivia Bogaczyk and Zoe Seppi and seventh graders Lesha Kabunov and Preston Kearns will represent CBA in the Final Round of the Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday, March 24.

The Junior High held its annual in-house Spelling Bee in December. The four spellers moved on to represent CBA at the regional exam sponsored by The Post Standard and Syracuse.com.  The students studied various spelling lists and in January participated in an online written bee with over 100 other students from Central New York. The top thirty spellers advanced to the final round.  This round is typically a live oral bee held at the WCNY studios, but this year will take place via ZOOM.

The winner then moves on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
