Football Student-Athletes Rae & Pitts Sign Their Division I Letters Of IntentJordan Rae and Amarri Pitts

Family, friends, coaches, and teammates gathered in the LGI on Thursday, Feb. 2 as football student-athletes Amarri Pitts and Jordan Rae signed their National Letters-of-Intent to continue their intercollegiate careers at Division I Institutions in the Fall.

Rae completed 140 of 192 passes for 2,419 yards (.729 completion percentage) and had 29 TD strikes. He rushed for 183 yards and five TDs. Rae was a First-Team All-State selection and was named First Team All-CNY. He is also an All-CNY Player of the Year Candidate.

Pitts, the son of Anthony Pitts and Patricia Glass of Syracuse, will attend Central Connecticut State. Rae, the son of Michael Rae of Liverpool, and Michelle Dratsch of Manlius, will attend the University of Albany.

Pitts, who was a Fourth Team All-State Selection, caught 19 passes for 378 yards and scored 10 TDS. He averaged 19.9 yards per catch and was also named First Team All-CNY.

Both players were instrumental in leading their team to the State Championship in 2021.
