Spreading holiday cheer…Santa and his elves hand out candy canes to students, faculty and staff. ‘Tis the season. Kambhampaty Selected Cameron Impact Scholar

Senior Abby Kambhampaty was selected as a 2021 Cameron Impact Scholar. The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarship awarded annually to the top 10-15 exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. The Cameron Impact Scholar is unique among their high-achieving peers in their desire to make an impact on their communities and in the world at large.

CBA celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The Mass, which was held in the Chapel, was streamed on the NFHS Network so that students could watch from their homerooms. “Many Catholics are confused about this Holy Day,” said senior Annie Kilmartin in the Call to Worship. “Today’s feast celebrates the fact that Mary was chosen from the moment of her own conception in the womb of her mother, Anne, to be the mother of Jesus. Four Student-Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

CBA is proud to announce that four student-athletes have signed letters of intent to continue their intercollegiate athletic careers at Division I institutions next year. Peer Program Assists Remote Student Learners

One-hundred eighty-five students in grades 7-12 are participating in a new program this year called PASS Online (Peer Academic Study Support-Online). PASS Online is a peer-support program aimed at providing academic support to CBA students who are remotely attending school from home. Students attending school on a hybrid schedule provide consistent communication to their classmates who, during the COVID-19 pandemic, do not attend school in person, and are 100% remote learners. Sixteen CBA students participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) Virtual Conference hosted by Manlius Pebble Hill School on Oct. 24. The day-long event focused on “Global Partnership for Peace and Justice”. Delegates represented countries in the committees of Disarmament and International Security, World Health Organization, United Environmental Protection, Economic and Social Crisis, General Assembly, UNICEF, Security Council, and Ending the Raj, 1947. Members of the football program volunteered their time at Joseph’s House on Saturday, Oct. 17. The boys moved furniture, removed beds and air conditioning units, replaced ceiling tiles, and did yard work.
